Kyllä alkaa oleen kotosalla vilskettä ja vilinää! Pennut muuten juoksevat aikas lujaa ja ovat oppineet kiipeämään portaita..

Lauantaina meillä oli kavreita kylässä ja pennut saivat olla valtoimenaan asunnossa. Hyvin ne tulivat ihmisten kanssa juttuun eivätkä arkailleet yhtään. Vieraat ehkä enemmänkin varoivat varpaitaan ja housun puntteja.

Nipsu tuntuu pitävän nyt enemmän pennuista "huolta" kuin aikaisemmin. Nipsun päätehtävä on tätä nykyä toimia poliisina ja pitää yllä järjestystä. Heti kun joku pennuista alkaa huutaa, niin Nipsu on salamana paikalla. Yleensä erottamassa "tappelupukareita" toisistaan.. Selvää "pomoa" ei pennuista mielestäni vielä löydy, tuntuu että ne ovat aina vuorotellen toistensa kimpussa. Etenkin sen joka nukkuu..

Herra Ruskea on kyllä yksi seikkailija! Sitä ei koskaan tiedä mistä sen löytää.. Taitaa olla ainoa kaveri joka on kolunnut asunnon joka nurkan. Neiti Punainen vastaavasti juoksi eilen mua karkuun vessapaperi rulla suussa (täyden suun otteella ) olohuoneesta meidän makuuhuoneen sängyn alle, jossa rullan levitysprojekti alkoi. Kiva metsästää kaveria sängyn alta. Hetken kun luulee, että on saanut kaikki pennut kannettua takaisin pentuhuoneeseen, niin joku juoksee hirveää vauhtia kohti eteistä. Ja ne pari rappusta siinä välissä menee kuin hups vaan. Lisäksi eteisen matot kuuluvat siihen sarjaan mitä on kiva siirrellä. Eilen sai Vilin kori kyytiä kun kaksi pennuista hyvässä yhteistyössä lähti hampailla nostamalla siirtämään koria! Uskomattomia pikkusankareita!

Eilen oli vaihteeksi vuorossa myös madotus ja kynsien leikkuu. Kynsien leikkuu sujuu nykyään hyvin, saan ihan yksin ne jo leikattua. Mutta matolääkkeestä kaverit ei tykkää. Onneksi madotus on Kimin hommaa!

Alf pääsi myös oikein kunnolla eilen "leikkimään" pentujen kanssa, ilman tötteröä tietenkin. Ihme kyllä Alf osasi varoa pentuja ja liikkui rauhallisesti. Hyvä hermoinen kaveri, sillä parhaimmillaan yksi oli kiinni takajalassa, yksi hännässä, yksi etujalassa ja yksi yrittää varastaa puruluuta Alffin suusta  Vajaan tunnin annoin kaverien touhuta keskenään ja sitten Alf pääsi rauhoittumaan omaan huoneeseen. Max ei pahemmin edelleenkään tykkää pennuista, lauantaina se ei voinut edes astua olohuoneen matolle kun se haisi "pennulle".. Vilinkin tykkääminen on pentujen hampaiden myötä vähentynyt. Kyllä se pentujen kanssa on, kunhan ne pienet hampaat pysyvät erossa Vilin turkista..

Taitaa siis olla aktiivinen joulu tulossa! Vähän kyllä harmittaa kun kaikilla pennuilla ei ole vielä kotia. Sääli, jos noin hyvänoloiset harrastuskoiran alut "menevät hukkaan"..

It’s starting to be real swarm and bustle at home with the puppies! They run amazingly fast and have learned to climb stairs already. Some of them even run those two-three step stairs!

On Saturday we had some friends visiting overnight and puppies had freedom to be loose in the house.  They managed well, played with them (bit them) and didn’t scare them at all. Maybe our quests were more careful and tried to protect their toes and pan legs.

It feels like Nipsu is getting more concern about puppies and takes care of them more than before.  Main job for Nipsu nowadays is to be a police and maintain order among little ones. As soon as someone starts to cry Nipsu is there with the speed of lightning to see what’s wrong and if, well when, she sees that puppies are only fighting with each other or someone is teasing and biting the other one, she separates them by gently biting the one who’s teasing and pushing him away.  You can’t really tell yet who the boss among the puppies is. Bigger ones are stronger but the smaller ones are tough and resilient. Time will tell who’s rising to the boss.

Mr Brown, Zeppelin, is a real wanderer! You never know where to find him. It seems that he’s the only one who’s explored every corner of our house. Miss Red, Zirkon, played with me yesterday “catch me if you can” with a toilet paper roll in her mouth, with full mouth bite!! She ran from livingroom to our bedroom and under the bed of course where she started to tear and spread up the paper roll! It was so much fun to hunt the little fellow under the bed. The moment you think that you’ve managed to get all the puppies to their room one of them runs behind your back through the livingroom towards the hallway and those two steps between those rooms is only a small snack to them! In addition, the carpets in the hallway are fun to try to move around. Also yesterday, two puppies gave a ride to Vili’s, our sheltie, sleeping box. In good co-operation they stroke their teeth to the box and tried to lift it up and move it! Unbelievable little heros they are!!

Yesterday was for a chance a day for nail cutting and giving a worm medicine. Nail cutting is doing pretty well and I manage to do it alone, but they don’t like worm medicine. Thank God it’s Kim’s job!

After nail cutting our malinois Alf “played” with the puppies. Surprisingly Alf was very carefull with the puppies and had a good temper as in one point one of the puppies had teeth on his tail, another one was biting his back foot, while one puppy was chewing his front pawn and fourth one was trying to steal a bone from his mouth!! They played for about an hour and then I put Alf to his own room to relax. Our groenedael Max still don’t like and ignores the puppies. On Saturday he didn’t even want to come to the livingroom as the carpet had a smell of puppies. Also Vili, who used to love puppies has started to avoid them more because of their sharp teeth.

It seems like it’s going to be a very active christmas! Still I have to admit that I feel a little sad as all of the puppies have not yet found new home. It’s a pity if such a good working dog beginnings “go waste”..
